‘Patience - 2023’

This is the third painting that I have done as an annual piece which I name'Patience' .

Painted in October 2023 during the atrocities that were occurring in the Gaza Strip, helplessness, anger and the need for patience were the overriding emotions welling in me. But amongst anything this painting ended with hope and love. 

As usual I started with a blue base and introduced army green imprints that have been overlaid with lighter happier colours of orange and pink.

Acrylic paint, some texture in parts (I used sand) and spray paints make up this piece.

This painting has been varnished with Matt varnish to reduce any glare on the uneven surface.

It is signed on the reverse and will come with a certificate of authenticity.
