‘Hot Mess’

This little 8”x8” canvas ended up with this name because of the intense heat it was created in. Not only did the paint react differently but I’m sure that I did too. 🥵 Don’t worry plenty of water was drunk by me, and the dog, in the studio that day.

I kind of like the way the colours almost blend completely in parts, and the pattern almost looks like it has been woven in strips.

This is quite a textured piece, I took advantage of the fact that the paint was drying so quickly in the heat.

Painted using Artist grade acrylics and a silicone brush.

The painting will be sold unframed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

It will be sent wrapped in glassine paper to protect the front, corner protectors held on by cling wrap, encased in a waterproof bubble wrap and packaged in double-walled cardboard.
